The dream of a perfect sports car drove Ferry Porsche to create the very first Porsche on 08 June 1948, and that dream is alive and well today 70 years on.
This June, to celebrate the 70th birthday of Porsche, our Porsche Centre will be holding a Sportscar Together Day. You, your family and your friends are invited to Porsche Centre Leicester on
09 June between
9am and
5pm to help celebrate this historic occasion.
The event will be a celebration of all things Porsche, bringing together Porsche drivers and enthusiasts to celebrate the momentous occasion, along with a display of both classic and new Porsche models. Centred on fun for the whole family, a variety of activities will be available to entertain the children such as face-painting, a bouncy castle and a new kids driving school. For the more competitive guests, there will be the opportunity to try out Virtual Reality Motion, as well as competing in Batak and Driving Simulator competitions. A photobooth and digital caricaturist will also be on hand to help you capture memories from the day with prints available to take away. Food and refreshments will be served throughout the event, starting with a breakfast van from 9am, followed by a hog roast and authentic Italian gelato early afternoon.

*Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. You can find more information on WLTP at www.porsche.com/wltp . For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
