On Thursday 12 September, representatives from Porsche Centre Leicester made the trip to Germany, to give our social media followers an insight into the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2019.
Considered as one of the biggest events in the automotive calendar, this year the show put the emphasis on the electrification of automotive industry and the new all-electric Porsche Taycan. Spanning a two-week period, the show attracts car enthusiasts from all over the world who are keen to see the latest developments in from the most renowned automotive brands.
The Porsche stand proved a huge success, with its multi-story display and range of highly anticipated Taycan models. Alongside the five new cars, a number of other models were also on display for guests to explore, such as the new 718 Cayman GT4 and Boxster Spyder, the Macan Turbo and Cayenne Coupé.
The stand also featured a seminar style auditorium to host a range of presentations on the Taycan, a luxury Exclusive Manufaktur specification suite for guests to view a range of additional options available on the model range and a Porsche Hospitality area, including a restaurant and viewing terrace.
The Porsche exhibition demonstrated the beauty and features of the newest model derivatives and newest technological developments such as the state-of-the-art rapid charging stations, home charging kits and completely touch-screen PCM interfaces to name a few. This allowed visitors, customers and enthusiasts to interact with the range, further inspiring their affinity with the Porsche brand.
Our social media followers were able to engage with the show via an Instagram Live session hosted on our Instagram profile by Marketing Coordinator, Natalie Whyte, offering a truly contemporary viewing experience. A number of Porsche Centre Leicester guests were hosted at the show across the two-week period, enjoying access to the show, stand, lunch and refreshments, with a fantastic view of the whole show from the second-floor Porsche Bistro Lounge.
The excitement surrounding the new Taycan model comes ahead of the Centre launches anticipated for early 2020.
