On Friday 17 March we hosted our Driven by Dreams event at St Martins House.
The event began with the Driven by Dreams digital art piece being played, before our Marketing Coordinator Callum discussed the meaning behind the short film. He explained how Ferry Porsche Dared to Dream when the sports car of his dreams did not exist at the time.
Ferry Porsche famously said “In the beginning, I looked around and could not find the car I dreamed of, so I decided to build it myself.” Referencing the Porsche 356 he created at the time. Our aim for the evening was to encourage attendees to dare to dream, and show that we are here to support them in achieving their dreams.
There were then two guest speakers, Social Entrepreneur Louise Spencer and Fine Art Gallery owner Louise Ellerington, who discussed their life story and the meaning behind Louise’s favourite paintings she had painted.
The evening was then finished in the most fitting way possible, with an incredible live performance from singer Abi Phillips. Abi explained how much her dreams had come true being able to perform live in front of an audience like there was on the night, after she had recovered from throat cancer and was told she may not be able to talk ever again.
We would like to thank Louise, Louise and Abi for their inspirational stories, performances and talks. It was an inspirational, interesting and entertaining evening which was enjoyed by all.

*Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. You can find more information on WLTP at www.porsche.com/wltp . For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
