On Sunday 27 August Porsche Centre Leicester visited Donington Park for Round 12 of the Porsche Carrera Cup 2023.
Customers and Staff of Porsche Leicester were greeted with breakfast in Porsche GB’s hospitality, before receiving their welcome talk.
The day kicked off with Race 1, which saw James Kellett come out in first position with a time of 1:36:982.
Attendees were then given a Paddock Tour by a member of the Porsche GB Motorsport team. They explained how a race team operates on race weekend and delved into the work that goes on behind the scenes.
Following the Paddock Tour, attendees were fortunate enough to meet Porsche GB’s Junior Driver Adam Smalley. Adam gave a great insight into the life of a race car driver and explained what it is like to race the GT3 Carrera Cup car.
After lunch the second race of the day took place, which saw Porsche GB’s Junior Driver Adam Smalley top the leader board with an impressive time of 1:29:757.
We’d like to thank Porsche GB for their incredible hospitality and entertainment for the day, it was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

*Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. You can find more information on WLTP at www.porsche.com/wltp . For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
